3) "Laser Tag Regional Update"

Buffalo, New York June 28th and 29th LASERTRON will be the last regional tournament in the laser tag tour of 2008 Lasertron World Championships

The LASERTRON Olympics is a triathlon of high tech entertainment sports. Instead of swimming, cycling and running, participants compete in Laser tag, Cyber Sport, and a Racing Experience.

For the Lasertron Olympics, participants will play the Quad Sport format. Think playing a two team format is hard? Try playing your team versus three other teams at once!

Cyber Sport is an interactive team game for up to 10 players that combines elements of hockey, lacrosse and basketball. Players ride in custom made Cyber Cars and attempt to score points on the opposing team's goal with the Cyber Ball using special scoops. The computer tracks your scores and prints out your personal game statistics at the end of the game.

Race against the clock with every race. At the end of the session, you'll receive a scorecard. Check and see how your times stacked up against your competitors. You'll see your best lap and total times for each of the three races.

If you've ever tried go-carts, you're in for real excitement at the LASERTRON Racing Experience. With our unique "slick track" and racing system, you'll need driver skill to succeed. Negotiating the curves on our race track is more like open wheel racing than other tracks. You won't be able to pin the accelerator to the floor. Using the brake and the accelerator will be necessary to negotiate the track and win the race.

Good Luck to our local Players Cyberwolf and Bhodi Li (currently ranked number 1 and number 2 in the world) who are driving up for the event!

If you are interested in playing in tournaments call into XP and ask when the next practice is. New players are welcomed. But be prepared its nothing like anything you’ve ever done before!!

4) XP Laser Sport announces its featured "Player of the Month"

Real Name:Pete Peters

Codename: Zorgon

Age: 52

Pete has been playing Laser Tag since 1990.

When asked how he got started playing Lasertag Zorgon responded... "In 1999 my oldest son Russell brought home a flyer about Photon in Baltimore. I was on crutches at the time and wondering if I would ever walk again.(Pete had fallen off a crain that was 60 feet high on a job site in 1988 and was still healing form that). When I went up onto the observation deck I thought this is the coolest thing I have ever seen if I am able to walk again I will play."

About a year later Zorgon began playing every Sunday with his wife and 3 kids.Once Pete started playing laser tag you couldn't keep him away. They became affectionately know as the Sunday Family.

Zorgon has also played Darklight, Laser Storm, Photon, Intersphere, and, LaserQuest . Pete has played in many tournaments over the years in many different states. When asked what his favorite lasertag format was Pete replied "They are all pretty much the same, I suck equally at all of them!"

Zorgon is a modest player he has won many medals throughout the years. Last year alone at the Lasertron World Championships he won 3 Silver and 2 Bronze medals!

Want to meet a living legend?

Zorgon will be signing autographs at the Grand Opening of XP Laser Sport's newest location in Owings Mills
